After 16 years of administering Stanford Achievement Tests (SAT10s) to our students, we were committing to pilot a new assessment protocol during the 2016/17 school year. Why the change? The publishers of the SAT10 were no longer producing the test (this is not to be confused with the college-based SATs- completely different assessment).

We decided to pilot the MAP (Measurement of Academic Progress) assessment, produced by the non-profit NWEA (North West Educational Association) in the 2-8th grades. The rationale to move to MAP was based on a number of factors: timely feedback, data-rich results, technology-driven, and enthusiastic feedback from other schools. We will post grade level results after we participate in our first round of testing in January.

Below are the results of our SAT Testing in previous years.
