Christmas Gratitude
One thing I’ve noticed even more this year is the Word Of God proclaimed on the walls of every classroom. Our children are literally surrounded by Scripture!

Ever since my children were very little, we have had the tradition of celebrating Advent. The first Sunday of Advent, we would go into the garden to collect bits and pieces of evergreen bushes and trees to make our Advent wreath, telling them that the evergreen branches were reminders of Christ’s eternal life.
It seems even individuals who desire to follow God and know Him, need reminders to be thankful!
To further honor our vets, this year we had a new addition to our program – Gail Belmont and her presentation of Quilts of Honor.
The day was full, the conversation rich, the time appreciated! All good elements of the day, helping us contribute to the accreditation process!
I would like to think we instill in our students a willingness to consider a Christian World View with less cynicism than the general population.
The biblical foundation, exceptional teaching, quality of the curriculum were all aspects we respected and wanted to give our children.
It is my hope that the joy my students feel in our classroom is a physical manifestation of the love that Christ has for them.
Our children are learning to think less about themselves and more about others.
