It seems even individuals who desire to follow God and know Him, need reminders to be thankful!

How often do we say “no touch“ to God?  He loves us.  He wants to hold us, protect us, and “tuck us in.”  Yet, at times, we act like we’re tired of his constant attention and affection. 

It rained all day today and it’s 5 pm, which means I have three hungry and wiggly children.  Luckily we live in California and a little rain means 60 degrees, low cloud coverage, supple soil, puddles, and a backyard ready for my kids to explore.

A big thank you for keeping sick kids home from school, as this drastically reduces transmission of the yucky cold and flu germs! So far we have eluded any BIG hits on campus! At home, please talk to your kids about washing their hands frequently, instructing them to sneeze into tissues, and cough into elbows.
